Why this page is short. Drivko's full Terms of Service publishes alongside the v1 app on 15 July 2026 — we won't ask anyone to agree to a Ts & Cs document until there's an app to actually use. This page is a placeholder summary so you understand the basic shape of the agreement before launch.
For privacy — how Drivko collects, uses, and protects your information — the full Privacy Policy is already live.
Who you'll be agreeing with
Drivko is operated by Ryan Cortinas, sole trader, trading as Drivko, based in England. When Drivko incorporates as a limited company in the future, the contracting party will change and you'll be asked to agree to the updated terms inside the app.
What Drivko is
Drivko is a UK driver-companion mobile app. It lets you track your MOT, tax, insurance and service renewals; log fill-ups; find local fuel prices; and earn rewards through Drivko Club. Drivko sources public DVLA, DVSA and gov.uk Fuel Finder data, and acts as an introducer to third-party affiliate partners (insurance, MOT booking, breakdown cover, fuel cards, sell-your-car) where you choose to engage with their offers.
What we charge for
- The core Drivko app — free at v1 launch.
- Drivko Club Premium — a future paid tier (roughly £2.99/month) for receipt-image retention, automated VAT reports for HMRC purposes, and other features aimed at sole-traders and SME drivers. Premium is optional; the free tier remains usable without it.
- Affiliate revenue — Drivko earns commission when you complete a purchase or sign-up on an affiliate partner's site. This is paid by the partner, not by you, and is fully disclosed at each offer.
What we promise
- To act in good faith, in the driver's interest, and inside the bounds of UK consumer-protection law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
- To handle your data per UK GDPR. See the full Privacy Policy for the detail.
- To clearly label affiliate offers and never disguise commercial placements as neutral recommendations.
- To never sell information that identifies you to advertisers, insurers, or anyone else.
What you'll agree to
- Using Drivko only for its intended purpose (managing your own car / cars).
- Providing accurate registration information — we can't help you with a car that isn't yours.
- Not attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the Drivko app or its underlying APIs.
- Being at least 17 years old (the UK minimum for a provisional driving licence) and a UK resident at v1 launch.
Liability and accuracy
Drivko shows you data from the DVLA, DVSA, and gov.uk Fuel Finder. We do our best to present it correctly, but we can't guarantee that government feeds are always up to date — for example, a fuel price published on gov.uk may lag the actual pump display, or a recently-changed MOT result may take time to appear in the DVSA feed. You should always confirm critical figures (an MOT due date, the actual price at the pump) at source before acting on them.
Predictions and reminders in Drivko (e.g. "your MOT may be due soon", "this advisory could become a fail") are advisory only. They are not professional automotive, legal, or financial advice.
Changes to these terms
When the full Terms of Service publishes at v1 launch, you'll be asked to read and agree to them inside the app before you can keep using Drivko. Any future changes will follow the same approach — new version in-app, fresh agreement required for significant changes.
